answers:

1. My expectations on starting this course was what i expected it to be although i expect us to being doing wigs too.

2. My initial thoughts on west college Scotland is that its a really good college and the lecturers are really nice and helpful! The makeup course is good fun and i seem to be learning a lot.

3. My funniest moment in college so far is going into the canteen for juice and trying to open a vending machine thinking it was a fridge. (had to be their) 

4. The most interesting thing i have learned in college so far is the special fx class on learning how to do different cuts and scars on people

dress the piries

My group and i have came up with an idea of making the Pirie family minions. Donald and his wife will go as mum and dad minions and the son will go as the baby minion. this look will be created by using yellow latex paint , dungarees , a bald painted yellow and minoin goggles.

They would have a custom built minion car made for them , like the one below, where donald and his wife would be in the front drivig the car and their would be a seperate  seat at the back where his son would be dressed as the baby minion.

halloween outfit

This is a female version of a freddy kreugar costume, i think this would be a good idea for halloween as the makeup looks really scary. you would need special fx makeup such as wax , blood , wound filler etc. this would cost approximately £40.

Altered states fx is a special fx makeup company run by david White. It is a multi-award winning company based t shepperton studios. David began his career at the age of 19 as an assistant to makeup effects artists nick maley 1982. He has done loads of different work robbie williams in rock Dj bacame a multi-award winner for its prosthetic make-up in the best special effects cartegory.

The beauty product i chose is one that i use which is a rimmel mascara shown in the picture above. its really good beacuse it has two different wands on it. One of them is to make ure lashes look nice and long the other is to make them look thicker. This makes youre eyes lashes look darker which will make youre eyes stand out more.It is also a reasonable price to buy as i got it from sainsburys for only 5 pounds!!



My classs had a disscussion on which beauty product  they couldnt be without . The result was collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer which is shown in the picture above.
